Well, it looks like new EMU FB HC Jeff Genyk's ties to the State of Illinois are already paying off for EMU as EMU received a verbal from QB Joe Ganz of Amos Alonzo Stagg HS. He had been recruited by Northwestern, Northern Illinois, Central Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana and Western Michigan in addition to Eastern Michigan.

We were not actively recruiting Ganz. We already have 2 QB verbals this year, including one stud - Britt Davis from Riverside-Brookfield. We brought in several QBs last year, also, including one gray-shirt.
