Granted, it's only 3 starters (total)...but it's curious how that doesn't seem to happen as often in the MAC.

At least TCU will have an excuse for their loss.

I don't think it's curious at all. I think it's reflection of the priorities established for MAC athletes by MAC schools. Clearly schools in these other conferences have a different set of priorities.

Naturally, both schools are to be commended for taking these actions rather than attempting to sweep the problems under the carpet until after the bowl game.

Whether you believe it to be played out and pathetic or not, it is the mindset of many in the MAC. We expect our programs to be clean. That's really all there is to it.
