Oh gawd, your taste in music is as bad as your taste in teams. 03-puke
Now if you are serious about music here's the legend from T town;

"One of the greatest improvisers in jazz history, Art Tatum also set the standard for technical dexterity with his classic 1933 recording of "Tea for Two." Nearly blind, Tatum's artistic vision and ability made him an icon of jazz piano, a musician whose impact will be felt for generations to come."

Django was a lousy piano player and wasn't from Toledo.

Art Tatum was a lousy guitarist.

How's this for a jazz pianist?

There's only one Xmas album - Guaraldi's Charlie Brown Xmas. All else pales in comparison! 04-rock 04-rock

Great Christmas album. I'd add Tony Bennett and Phil Spector to the list, though. Pop all three of those CD's (along with a mix CD that had the Kinks and Ramones X-Mas tunes, etc.) into a player and hit "shuffle", and you've got a party goin' on.

Phil Specter, the Ramones, the Kinks?

And you question my musical tastes? If a song has less than 3 bar chords then it's not even music.

Double 04-bow 04-bow on the Phil Spector!

I'd also throw in the Otis Redding's "Merry X-mas Baby", Booker T's arrangement of Jingle Bells , Bobby Darin's "Christmas Auld Lang Syne" and John Lennon's 'Happy Christmas".
Phil Spector?? :eek:

It took the Beatles 30 years to get over what he did to Let It Be!!
Ok...lets add a great vocalist to that list.......how about Nat King Cole?

I don't question your musical tastes. I'll ridicule them without qualms. Particularly after this post.

Spector was a bad producer for certain groups...The Beatles and The Ramones come to mind...but he was still a genius. His "girl group" stuff was amazing. Listen to "Mountain High, River Deep" by Ike and Tina, it's amazing.

Excellent additions! Particularly the Booker T.
