You know, for some reason they have had Bob Davies announce all of the Big Ten games starting out... and now he has been doing the MAC... at first, I didn't care much for him cause i think he was a pompous jack butt as a coach for ND... However, I really like the excitement and the ecouragement he brings to the booth when he announces the game... is he still arrogant? YES... Is he still poumpous? YES... however, he always brings up some pretty good points... and he tells it like it is... and usually points out stuff that a lot of the other annoucers don't... i like that... i hope he continues to cover da MAC...

King Bob has spoken...

He did have some nice things to say about the MAC this season, and I'll give him points for not taking the C-USA job. But my main problem with the guy is he has a really boring speaking voice. I can see how players would fail to be motivated by his droning yap.
Also, he went on a really nutty rant one day about how 6-6 teams making bowls shows how great the bowl system is because it means that every game matters.
