Glad to see the young man get a second chance

I wonder if Kent State offers Anger Management classes 03-wink
Good for Jon and for Kent St. They are getting a coach who obviously cares about the players he coaches. Jon made a mistake and paid for it, now he's moving on with his life, kudos to Kent for giving him another chance to coach football in his backyard.
Things is gettin' interesting.
Good deal , he just got caught up in a moment ....give Kent's
coach kudo's ...
Defensive Run-Game Coordinator? Does that mean they also have a defensvie Pass-Game Coordinator instead of just one Defensive Coordinator?

I thought that sounded weird ...
 I guess they figure they have been so bad defensively that maybe they should try 2 coaches.

Just imagine the controversy when the D-Running Coordinator wants to do a run blitz and the D-Passing Coordinator wants to drop the linebackers back into pass coverage on the same play! 03-lol

I would say something , but I'll be nice !! 03-wink
I think Jon Wauford is a very good hire as a coach. I hope he's learned his lesson.

The coordinator titles are wierd. I think they are just trying to find a spot for him.

Great future as your first 1-AA coach.

He'll go bannanas when nobody shows up for the games.

ooh-ooh-ah, ah, ah
does he have to register in ohio as a violent offender :D
I'm interested in knowing what RedHawks fans think of this hire. Thoughts?

Nice try KC, but Xavier already locked up the highly coveted "retard of the week award". But I suppose it doesn't hurt to practice for next week, continue posting.

Emmm......Toledo grads calling anyone retarded......strange indeed. Melwood recruits at UT.

Jon Wauford to coach at Kent? That makes me hope conference realignment does not happen next year. I

Same here. Good for him. It probably still kills him to not be coaching at Miami. He has suffered.

(Some might argue this hiring insures further suffering 03-razz -- but I think Pees is running a good program over there).

Their silence is deafening.

Should be interesting to see him back in Oxford next year coaching against his former team.
He did something wrong and was punished for it. I say it's good that he gets to move on with his life, and it's probably a good hire for Kent. Otherwise, personally I don't think much more of it one way or another.
