Ok, I know that Rush Limbaugh is capable of making cogent arguments, which is more than I can say for Al Franken or Michael Moore.

But yesterday, in the most painful 6 minutes of the day (including being woken up by my son's crying at 1:51 am) I heard him blather on about a subject he knew nothing about. I know for certain that he knew nothing about it b/c he said so about 4 million times.

So, if you don't understand the subject, and admit that you'll "never" understand it, why must you continue to rant about it?

And yes, I eventuallychanged the station, but it was a short trip and I had to pay attention to some construction and didn't want to be flipping channels.
Rush is not just an idiot, he's a HYPOCRITE !! On the radio and all the time. He also knows pro Fb ,NOT !!

As long as he makes money from his mouth its all good.
Torch, you forgot to insert "BIG FAT" before "idiot." Franken will be calling you to collect his 25-cent royalty.

Maybe we can get a "Share our personal philosophies" forum here, too, and KK's can be the first one.
Who's next?
:D
I like Rush. I don't always agree with him, but I find him entertaining and he certainly hits the spot with me on his conservative viewpoints. He was dead wrong about McNab but dead on about Clinton & Howard Dean.

A Chippewa Enema forum could be this little ol' message board's ticket to the big time.....03-lol

He also knows a lot of Florida doctors very well. 03-lol

His courageuous support for both the war on drugs and the pharmaceutical industry is to be commended....

Actually, he was right on about sportswriters bias toward black QB's. See Steve McNair's co-MVP as proof. I intend to write Peter King about this as well.

As for McNabb...yeah, Rush was sort of wrong. The Eagles had alot of controversy w/ contract disputes to start the season. Amazing how the very sportswriters who cover this stuff ad nauseum in the pre-season, forget about it when the season starts 2 weeks later. But, McNabb always had let downs at Syracuse. Not because he's vastly overrated, I just think he gets complacent. That's a bit of a knock on him, but not to the extent that Rush said.
Figured you guys loved him since he was busting on WV again today. Apparently our attorney general was complaining that WVians pay too much for illegal drugs. Rush was quoting an article in the Charleston Gagzette. The paper didn't mention that the Attorney General was using this as a reason to get people off drugs and not just mad cause we were (I mean they were) getting ripped off. The Gagzette replied to Rush's reply and he apologized for the misuderstanding, but it was funny. Rush initially made it sound as though we were to backward to even get drug buying right. Love him or hate him their is always something interesting going on, on the EIB network. I thought it was pretty funny and not even WVians like the bureaucrats here. We just can't seem to shake 'em for good.
I don't think McNair was as good as Manning this year, but he was certainly one of the 3 most valuable football players to his team in 2003 and for the few years before.

Wouldn't that be ironic for a man facing felony charges in just such a circumstance.

That's right. I did mean to look that up. I thought it was hilarious. I think that's why I started listening to begin with.

Vandelay - Interesting that you think he is right on about Howard Dean. I follow the news quite a bit and I still can't quite figure the guy out. How can it be that you KNOW he is dead on about someone. What do you know about Howard Dean? I believe that people need to understand that Rush Limbaugh and the rest of those guys including Franken and Moore are not un-biased truth-tellers. They are in the game of political entertainment. Sort of like pro wrestling is sports entertainment. It looks and sounds real but in reality its fake. I mean how is it that one guy ALWAYS thinks that Republicans are right and the other guy AlWAYS thinks that Republican are wrong. Who really believes that crap? We as a society should elevate the political discourse away from that kind of BS. Those people are trying to use us for their own gains. They really don't care about us.
Perhaps it was Vandelay who paid for the sign that used to greet drivers on I-75 between Toledo and BG. It said only, "Right on Rush!"
Considering that three one-syllable words in a row pushes the literacy envelope of your average Limbaugh fan, that's not surprising...
