After trailing 22-8 at one point in the first half at NIU, the Rockets lead 35-33 at halftime. This could be a great 2nd half. NIU is playing very well tonight.

For those that live in Toledo, the game is being televised on BCSN (Channel 8).
77-64 UT Final. Good to see the young team come back from 14 on the road. Unfortunately it was NIU, but a win is a win.
I believe that is win #15 tonight. We owe this victory to Triplett. He picked the team up the last few minutes of the 1st half when it looked like we were going to get blown out.
Tripp had a great game but I think Tino turned it aroung under the hoop scoring three times in a row right before tripplet got hot.
15-4 Who would have thought!!!!
I am getting tired of doing this but congrats to the Rockets. We did play fairly well in the first half of the first half but as usual choke. We just don't have the talent or coaching to be very competitive against most of the MAC.

How did the game look on tv? We had a good crowd but pretty spread out.
yes it looked like there was alot there but very spread out on the sides of the court
Seemed like a decent crowd. The BCSN feed was from Fox Sports Chicago and at halftime they did a piece with NIU football coach Joe Novak.
In other action, the Broncos went to 15-2 by blowing out EMU 75-55 today. Unless the course changes paths for someone, it looks like a WMU-KSU-UT 'triplet' in the regular-season MAC title chase (pun semi-intended). None of the three were picked to win their respective divisions in the preseason poll.

WMU is 15-2? Wow. That's a darn good record.

When did the MAC go to three divisions? :D

Now what was the name of that league that actually did this and called them the Red, White, and Blue Divisions? It's on the tip of my tongue. I think it begins with a "C".

And oh yeah, GO MAC!!

Not so fast, MB! I believe Miami (OH) is dead even with the Rockets--2 losses and right on our butts like the Rockets are on yours, and they play this week in a very big game at "The Library" in Oxford. That game will tell us who is in the driver's seat for the final MACC bye. May be a big tiebreaker game.
True. Come to think of it, Ball State is not out of the woods yet either. I was probably concentrating too much at the overall record too, which doesn't dictate a MAC title.
Ball St. is probably a clear #5 right now, mostly because they don't hold their own destiny in their hands: 2 games back with one game against the Broncs and none against UT left. They do have a big game at home vs. Miami later on. The need to run the table to move up and it still might not be enough inget the west. Of course with tow MWU-UT matchups left, a lot of stuff is possible and they might be in good shape to steal 2nd in the West.

I'm surprised our UCF friends haven't mentioned the results of their A-Sun game against Troy State. Wait, maybe I am not surprised.
