I know that Miami is happy in recruiting Jared Elliott, a 6-5, 210-pound product out of Page High School in Franklin, TN. Commenting on Elliott, Terry Hoeppner stated, "We ended up with a quarterback we are really excited about.
Is OU planning on changing their offense ?? Why would a throwing
QB go to a school that runs the ball 95 % of the time ?

To meet Kitkat?
Good grief...I didn't realize that MAC schools had so many recruiting inroads in middle TN. We (Memphis) can't get any of the action out of that part of the state. Then again, people in west TN are raised to hate middle TN, and vice versa...
OU is changing their offense. The new OC has been given the ok to do what he wants and according to Knorr we're going to run a more "spread" offense. . . but still use some option principles. . . I'll believe it when I see it.
Quote:according to Knorr we're going to run a more "spread" offense
Does that mean we may actually see the Bobkitties put two wide receivers out on a play to try to distract the defense from the pitch?

A discussion of the new OC's offensive philosophy, along with a link to a paper he presented at one of the meetings of the AFCA, can be found here:
