Turns out they were way off... They said N. Illinois would be the best team in the conference and had Toledo finishing last. Kind of maked you wonder if the guys writing these magazines do any research at all.

bad, bad predicting.

I thought the last place teams, Ohio and CMU, were no brainers based on poor returning talent.

NIU was indeed the major flop this year as was Akron with their PG, Hollinsworth.

Toledo indeed was a surprise.

I predicted EMU for 4th.

Hey, after we won the East, we decided to try for third.

They're usually off on football predictions, too, but it seems basketball is generally harder to predict.
