I don't trust the BCS at all when they say the potential fifth bowl is about opening access to the mid-majors. I think the real motive is that they want to keep the Big East's automatic bid and in exchange, the five other major conferences get two extra at-larges. That being said, I think the new BCS bowl will either be the Peach or the Capital One. Comments?
We all knew this. No one believes for a second that the BCS thugs care about whats good for college football, or what is fair to ALL football teams.

The BCS is concerned about one thing: Money, and how they can get their hands on MORE of it.

Afterall, it'd be a shame for a BCS representative to have to settle for a BMW instead of a Jaguar, wouldn't it?
Got to disagree with the CFN writer.

IF Miami had been able to play in a BCS game against a top 10 opponent over the New Year's holiday, doesn't anyone not think they could have taken 15 - 20K fans with them?

Big difference between play L'ville in Mobile midweek and say playing a UofM, OSU, etc. on Jan 1 or 2.
So why is a fifth BCS game really necessary? For the most part, the BCS games have been major suck fests, and simply knighting the Cotton or Holiday Bowl a BCS worthy event doesn
