Final U (sic) Toledo 72, Marquette 87. I caught a fair amount of this game. Marquette pulled away at the start but, to their credit, the Rockettes made a great comeback. Toledump actually took a one point lead with about 15 minutes left but then went most of the rest of the game without making a field goal (well, I don't know if it was most of the rest of the game but it was a damn long time). Still, good effort by the Mudhens but the shots just would not fall in the 2nd half.
We were down 65-63 with 10:33 left and then it fell apart. We missed a couple of shots and Marquette made two 3-pointers in a row. We then decided to go away from what got us back in the game and shoot everything from the outside, missing almost everything.
Our youth definitely showed. It was great experience for those kids and I look forward to what they can do next year.
there season ended in the post season... that is more than U can say. :crying:
Did you read my post or is a grasp of the English language a little too much for you? I do believe I was complimenting the Rockettes on a good effort and I don't believe I complained about the lack of a post season bid for the Herd. Bungmunch.

Believe me, as soon as Marquette (and its pedophile officials) get away from the Bradley Center, they're toast.

As for MU, they do struggle away from home. However, the NIT is making sure they don't have to go on the road for awhile. So, you will get to watch them a couple more times, at least.
