I was just scrolling through the MAC news stories and several teams have already released their schedules. I wonder when we'll release ours?

Here's the story with BG and Toledo schedules. BG has 2 weeks off before our game and Toledo plays at Miami the week before us.

If things flow as usual, we will probably be one of the last to release our schedule. When it does get released, it will be released to only a select few, beginning with the big money donors at a sumptuous wine and cheese party. Two weeks after that, it will be posted on the web. My guess is right before the Spring game. 03-lol
I am sure that the MAC worked very hard to get Toledo on 4 ESPN games. Hats off to the Ohio-based MAC!
Without Commander Cary no one can decide when corn boil will be and when pork day will happen.
GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know. We wouldn't want to jump the gun and go do anything crazy like start selling tickets. 05-nono

Our first ESPN game, Minnesota, had nothing to do with the MAC. Minnesota had the game changed to Sunday to have it on ESPN. That particular game has nothing to do with the MAC/ESPN contract.

We happen to play @ Miami and @ Northern Illinois this year. Miami and NIU were both willing to move the games to a week day to have the games on ESPN. The MAC did have a lot to do with that too.

Our final game is home against BG and again the MAC did have a lot to do with it and Toledo was willing to move the game to a Tuesday to be on ESPN.

NIU has games at home against BG and Toledo on ESPN for sure. That was the MAC and NIU agreeing to have those games moved for ESPN. I don't believe NIU plays Marshall nor Miami from the East, so it is hard to get another MAC game on TV for you guys.
Rocket,

We shouldn't forget that our 3rd game on ESPN will be the MAC championship game, and the 4th will be the Motor City or GMAC Bowl.
