#57 Marshall improved to 12-3 overall and 3-0 in the MAC by whipping the tar outta the Redskinnyhawks 7-0.

Suits me.
Forehanding and Backhanding Miami silly!

Life is good. :)
Congratulations to the Herd on their second defeat of a Miami team this year.

Herd Wins
Women's Volleyball
Women's Tennis

Miami Wins
Football
Men's Basketball (x2)
Women's Basketball (x2)
Women's Soccer
Women's Swimming and Diving

In addition, Miami has finished ahead of the Herd in both Men's and Women's Cross Country MAC Championships.

So again, congratulations on your ever-so-rare defeat of Miami in anything.

In the meantime, allow me to suggest that Marshall field a women's field hockey team, since you would probably get a guaranteed win over us...
Miami split two matches with Marshall in women's volleyball.

In addition to the sports Steve mentioned, Miami also has finished ahead of Marshall this season in commonly entered festival competition in men's golf (both fall and spring seasons) and women's indoor track and field.

Marshall does, however, have a good tennis team, and I expect to see them in NCAA play at the season's end.
You forgot Miami's wins over Marshall in:

Women's underwater basketweaving
Men's skeet shooting (I thought we had that one in the bag)
Women's synchronized farting

See you on Sept. 29. :chair:
Well, the basketweaving win was particularly impressive. That's only a club sport at Miami, but it's a major at Marshall.
Hey, your guys were the ones bringing up women's non-revenue sports.

If you would like, we can stick with the revenue sports:

Marshall Wins

Miami Wins
Football
Men's Basketball (x2)

By the way, say hi to Buffalo at the bottom of the Reese/Jacoby standings when they come out in June.

I thought the underwater basket weaving had been cut at Marshall due to Title IX concerns. They still offer it as a major, though? Good for them!
WAIT - Marshall is STILL in the MAC?

Heck, I thought they left already!
Perhaps football is a club sport for Miami. As a prominent MAC program, they only have two MAC Championship since 1986.

Is that real wood on the side of that '86 Wagoneer?

Back to the topic of this thread....

The Redskinnyhawks received a monumental a$$ whipping Saturday.

7-0

Back to congratulations due...
Awww...let 'em have their fun. They've waited 7 years to type that football bravado. 03-wink
Perhaps, but the rest of the stuff is par for the course. Unfortunately, since you didn't beat us in football this year, you may actually be looking UP at Buffalo in the Reese standings this year.
Did I mention the score of this severe beatdown was 7-0.? The Redskinnyhawks did manage to win a set though. So if you keep score by sets, they only lost 15-1.

7-0 is a trouncing. Revenue or not.
And here's your congratulations.... (did you miss it when RS posted it the first time??)

45-6 is a pretty good trouncing as well. And in a sport that is your opponent's one-trick pony, it's even better.
How did the Marshall-Miami W.E.T game go this year?
It's utterly amazing that Marshall fans have been reduced to talking smack about TENNIS.

Grasping for straws, maybe?
Checked again today. 7-0 is still a stompin'.
