Umm...I don't think this has anything to do with ESPN. I think this is simply some games that collegefootballnews.com look to be some of the best games of the year...Of course, if you are referring to the games during the week, most of them are probably on ESPN 1 or 2.

Kent St. vs. Marshall is going to be a spotlight game?

What a joke.
On a Monday night? When did that become a reality.
That doesn't have anything to do with ESPN. Toledo is on there 3 times, but we have 4 games on ESPN/ESPN2 this fall.
Why would Kent State and Marshall play in Monday if television wasn't a factor?

Correct and the game is on Oct 16th which is on a Saturday.
Another one of the reasons I think this publication is nothing but bird cage liner.

Marshall plays Kent on the 16th, a Saturday, and not the 18th, a Monday.

West Virginia plays Pitt on Thanksgiving Day on ESPN at 7 p.m., which replaces the Ole Miss - MSU "Egg Bowl".
Connecticut and Rutgers play earlier that day.

Lack of homework. It is a staple of this organization.

And it takes less than ten minutes per article to break them down.
Marshall is our Homecoming game. That would not be played on Monday night.

I thought there was an unofficial rule relating to Buffalo and scheduling homecoming. 03-wink

Scoreboard. UCF got spanked by both these jokers......

MAC games on ESPN = Wed. and Thurs. night games that I can actually go to! Hopefully they will put Miami-Marshall on a week night again and I'd also like to see the BG-Toledo game at the glass bowl this year.

There is a rule, it's as follows:

From the MAC rule book:
"Section 12: UB must schedule the best team in the MAC East from the previous season as their homecoming, that way they will be creamed in front of their second largest turnout of the season, to prevent further interest in their program."

Good One. I think we all feel that way.

On the other hand why can't we schedule a patsy 1-AA team for homecoming like Colgate?....err, I mean Lehigh?...ummm, well I guess it's really a no-win situation for UB unless they upset a powerhouse.
