For Ohio, probably only two for now have a good shot...LB Dennis Chukwuemeka and OL Dennis Thompson....they both have injury histories though. Other players might get a look if they come off injuries and have big seasons like their sophomore years.

Who from your school?
Toledo:

OL Nick Kaczur
TE Andrew Clarke
WR Lance Moore
WR Kenny Higgins
FS Patrick Body

My guess is that Kaczur, Clarke, and Body will have strong chances of getting drafted if they have big years. Moore and Higgins would have outside chances. That's about it for Toledo. We don't have very many seniors this fall.
Davis, Charles, and half our defensive seniors will have a shot. I would say for sure Goddard, Rembert, and Hairston on D will be late draft or FA. I expect Josh Davis will have a big year and be a first or second rounder. Charles 3rd or 4th rounder if he shows his stuff well this year.

You forgot Brucey...the future NFL hall-of-famer who certainly will have nothing left to accomplish at UT after an undefeated season, BCS bowl victory and an invite to the Heisman trophy awards show. 04-bow

Seriously though...Kaczur and Clarke will definitely go.

For BG...probably only Scott Mruczkowski-OL will get drafted...Cole Magner-WR will most likely be an FA signing.

You mean you were kidding about Bruce? :D

That's fair. Mruczkowski is probably our best prospect.

I have my doubts about Cole Magner. He's my favorite player, tougher than nails, a true multidimensional athlete, and I hope like hell we can get his little brother to play at BGSU... but Magner looks like a toothpick on the college field. I can't imagine hiim on an NFL field. I'm not sure he has NFL speed, either (correct me if I'm wrong, Falcon faithful).
For NIU, Brian Atkinson MLB will be a prospect and possible draftee, as will OT Jake Verstraete. WR/KR Dan Sheldon could certainly get a look as he's a blazer - not quite as strong, but reminds me of Tim Dwight a bit. SS Lionel Hickenbottom should also get a serious look.
Marshall players with a chance, from most likely to least likely:

Just my opinion of course.

WR Josh Davis
QB Stan Hill
T Nate Griffin
RB Earl Charles
DE Jamus Martin
LB Kevin Atkins
WR Tremel Guillory

I think Davis, Hill and Griffin have very good chances of being drafted. Charles has a chance to sneak in the late rounds. Martin, Atkins, and Guillory have dreamer's chances.
Not to be a "wise-@ss", but won't it kind of depend on how they play in the 2004 college season?

Yeah. But, sheesh, we need somethin' to talk about.
Say something negative about UCF (or positive about a MAC program) to KT or HC.......that'll work for getting a thread started fast!. 03-wink

I don't agree about Jamus Martin being a long shot. Although I'm no Mel Kiper he'd be the #1 prosect on my Herd list right now. Going to remind a lot of people of Jevon Kearse. Earl Charles is a close #2.... now I may have been wrong about Butchie but Earl I'd have to say has a great chance to be the first MAC RB taken next year.
No offense, but I don't think Stan Hill will get drafted.
I agree with Hill not getting drafted as well...he has not really proven anything yet in his limited playing time so he would need a breakout year. Besides, isn't he kind of small to be an NFL QB?

Of course Craig Krenzel and that no-name from Delaware got drafted so who knows???
It's hard to tell about Hill right now. It all depends on his performance this season especially against the BCS teams and his health. I could possibly see him getting drafted and making a roster somewhere.

No offense, but I think you're wrong.

Although, I am assuming that he comes all the way back from his injury when I make that prediction.

6'3" 210

He's definitely no giant but I wouldn't call him undersized.

What has Hill done to make you folks think he will be a draft pick next year??? Of the games I watched he hasn't looked all that great.(that includes the win over Miami, Watts was the real hero of that game IMO)

Add me to the list of those who are unimpressed with Hill.

That would be a "short" list :D

If he can stay healthy and start off like last season he will be a late rounder. He threw for almost 1,800 yards and 15 TD's in 5 1/2 games.
