CFN: After coming so close last year, but falling short, how driven are you to lead the Rockets to a MAC West title and a bowl game this year?

BG: We know we came up short last year and, on one end, that may be a good thing because it makes us work even harder now to reach our goals. We’re far from where we need to be and we have a long road ahead of us. If we keep working hard, we’ll get there.
Anyone else find it ironic that Bruce's initials are 'BG'?

Indy,
I noticed that after I had almost finished the story! I kept seeing "BG" for his replies. That was kinda cool! 03-razz

When UT & BG are playing for second place in the MAC West. :D
Good kid. Very well spoken, hell of an athlete and you have him two more seasons.........Asmutz has done a fantastic job while there, and spence is very good....I think i may start gettin worried they might leave sometime.

Great article look foward to another hard fought MAC season, ill miss it next year.

Go Herd
I am very worried that Spence will get offered a high paying job at a higher profile school. He was one of 3 finalists as the Auburn OC this year, but they chose the OC from Indiana instead. Mistake by Auburn, but good for Toledo because we have him for at least one more year.

As for Amstutz, he is probably going to stay in Toledo....at least for quite a while.
I like how the media now seems to expect that the MAC will produce one of the nations top QB's every year.

At least it can be used as a fuel source - we're productive out here. Can the gas that a Tony Packo's creates power a combustion engine? :chair:

You wouldn't be asking if you'd ever had one of those gastronomical delights. Ever stood upwind of a Hungarian? :D

But still not as cool as being able to claim him as your own, right?

By Omar Jacobs' senior year, quite a few sportswriters will wonder why they ever bothered learning how to spell "Gradkowski."

Yes,Packo's provides that and much more. With some Packo's "Pickles and Peppers"it is almost as enjoyable as a win over BGSU.You can get them online.

By his senior year, Jacobs will be known as OJ - from one felon to another.

Oh, you don't think so..........well he's a sophomore now, so after two years of hanging around Joseph I wouldn't put a felon or two past him. 03-lol

Ouch. 03-lol

In a sort of open letter to Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba.com, Coach Brandon has indicated that Joseph has been cleared of any improprieties.

Get ready Sooners... we're a-comin'.
