I don't know if anyone else caught this but the Syracuse are now known simply as the Orange (no more Orangemen or Orangewomen) Their AD had this gem to say:

That's part of their strategy not to suck anymore.
"The Orange" A name sure to strike fear and terror in the hearts of opponents. Forget badgers, eagles, tigers, panthers, lions, etc. An orange is truly frightening.

BTW - I don't think anyone in the NFL fears "Lions" FWIW.

I guarentee after every Syracuse loss, some headline in a paper will involve the word "Squeezed".
