This was a good week for the MAC. And it was a good week for MAC Spread 'em.

And it was a great week for HerdFan4Life, who picked up a cool two grand. He has passed Rteynor, and is now in the lead of the standings.

First on my list to break legs is Axeme, who has been laying a grand a week on Kent State and getting pummelled.

The big action:

2. $2,225 on Kentucky over Ohio
3. $2,150 on Northern Illinois over Akron
4. $2,100 on Bowling Green over Temple

Incidentally, no one laid any money on Ohio, and no one touched the Buffalo-Central Florida game.

Oh well, it's my first loss since the Rockets in week 1.

Can't wait to see that UT/WMU spread.

This is a truly humbling game. Last week I won a thousand; this week I lost a thousand. Just when you think you are pretty smart and that this is an easy game to play, it up and smacks you right in the mouth. How many close games can Kent State lose this year? I have bet my last dollar on them for this season. And Ball State is truly Jekyll and Hyde. Good at home, awful on the road. Will this continue? Can we safely bet them on that criterion alone? Time will tell.

I'll take $1000 on Kent State vs. Miami of Ohio. Spread, schmed. We're going to win, just like we do every week.
