I hope we send the whole team on blitzes frequently like we did against Wisconsin, against their new QB, who looked like crap last year when McBrien went out against Georgia Tech. Terps managed just 3 points in that GT game.
If we can shut down the run, we have a good chance in this game.

Reasons?
Maryland and their new qb may be slow out of the gate, preventing this one from getting to be a high scoring affair.
I'm starting to have a good feeling about this match.
As was stated earlier, if NIU can stop the run and force MD to pass I think the dogs take it. Also, if Fridge outthinks himself and wants to chuck the rock all over the field it plays into the strength of the defense. If the DL plays over their heads NIU 18 MD 17 on a two point conversion in the final two minutes.
If the DL struggles then it will be MD 38 NIU 16.
Either way it will be fun, and I think that the Huskies finally knock the door down and win the MAC titile.
Saturday is going to be cool. Dogs on the radio (If I can get reception) in the afternoon and evening and then Tesla at Waterfront Sat. night. More college footy on Sun and Monday night the 4 +1/2 track meet in Fla between State and Miami for the ACC title. I'm sure I won't be able to stay up until 1 am to see the finish.
Go Huskies, Go MAC and lets shock the world with upsets on Sat.
