I posted this on the Toledo board and it has relevance to you also. Read the second paragraph.

This stat is amazing.

The Sprockets have given up 126 points so far this year.

In 2000, they gave up 125 points for the whole season.
Hey, you are taking this way too hard. It is still early in the season and there is plenty of time to turn things around.

I understand your feelings as it seems, when it comes to football, EMU has been embarrassing the MAC for years and it is painful when you know that your team is dragging the conference down, but Toledo has built a solid reputation over the years and you guys should not hang your heads too much at this point.

At least not until after next week in Ypsilanti. 03-wink

And THAT will be just a wonderful little 03-nutkick
There has to be something going on in the players' heads. I dare not presume what that is.

I do know the Rockets are very talented and should perform better against these average BCS schools.
I still think they are the team to beat in MAC play, but if they don't get their heads on straight, then it will be a long season for the Rocket faithful.
As a huge MAC fan and a Rocket fan/alum, I am thoroughly embarrassed by UT's performances this year. Losing both games is not bad; losing 63-21 and 63-14 is unspeakable.

Right now Toledo is the frontrunner for the new annual "UCF Implosion Award." It must have been gut-wrenching for golden Knight fans last year to watch their team, now I know how they feel.

Nick's Picks for week #3; EMU 42 - Toledo 30.

But hey, at least we shouldn't give up 63 points again.
Will we?
