Attention all students:

Student Government is sponsoring a bus trip to EMU. Tickets are $5 and include bus trip, game ticket, and entrance to the Alumni Tailgate. Tickets are on sale now at Rocket Copy in the Student Union. The bus will leave the South Transportation loop at 3pm and return approximately an hour and fifteen minutes after the game. You need a valid Studnet ID in order to ride the bus.

If you have questions, call the Student Government office at 530-4165.

Congrats to SG. This is so important because today's involved students are likely to be tomorrows involved alumni. If this program is to thrive, the size of the fan base must be increased and this is one way to work toward that goal.

Probably just wishful thinking but hopefully by the end of the season it will require a whole fleet to meet the demand.


Incidently, did the Athletic Department play a role in this, or was it just a SG initiative?

this is just SG they have been doing this for the whole 3 years that I have been here. But this is a first that they put info online about it. Even at low prices they have a hard time getting more than ten people to go unless it is marshall. Most of the time it is about twenty dollors to go to marshall, pittsburg and others its really a good deal.

I can't buy lunch at Burger King for $5.00. Transportation and ticket for $5.00 is a real deal.Go Rockets!!!

Were they doing this back in the early 90's when I was there?? This is awesome.....if I were still in Toledo I'd take some night classes just so I can go on the cheap trip!! :D
