1 vote in the poll! Was that Coach Novak putting NIU at #25?

I thought I heard Novak comment that a coach should never vote for his own team. Quite possibly it was BG's Gregg Brandon.

I would have to agree. Don't know if he votes though. If we beat Akron handily next Sat. we will get some more respect.

The way things are set up this year, Im not sure NIU could get into the Top 25 unless they run the table AND win the MAC championship game.

NIU's two OOC losses, and the MAC's overall poor performance in OOC games, will keep NIU out of the top 25, until post season. :(

But then, so what! It won't keep us from getting a ring!
