This guys is stoned, drunk, or both.
He had 5 C-USA teams in a bowl. U of L, S.Miss, UAB, TCU, Memphis. If Army (easy schedule rest of the way) is bowl eligible you know they will go bowling and maybe USF. I can't imagine 3 MAC teams bowling let alone 5.
Jerri Palmer??? What happened, did he/she have a sex change?
Bottom line, Palm believes a host of BCS teams won't make it to 6-5. (The only reason several made it the past couple of years is due to a 12 game schedule.)
How ironic if the MAC gets one to three additional bowl berths in a very "down" year leaguewise, when over past years and decades the worthy MAC champion, second place team, or beyond were left at home.

Yep... the dude has bong breath.
He leaves Troy out of the bowl picture, but I would have to think they would get the nod over a 5th MAC team with their Mizzou win.
The MAC in four bowls........possibility.
Here are the prospects for open slots:
(through Oct 22, 2004)
