It gets worse from here for Kent State. No way we'll make up the shortage with EMU in November.
I was totally dissapointed in the crowd at Marshall , weather was great ...
I was totally dissapointed in the crowd at Marshall , weather was great ...
Is everyone even counting the same way? I just have a hard time believing WMU is at 17K, or OU at 16K, with the seasons they're having.
We all know that Toledo counts 1....2......6.......13.......39........59..........etc...........etc.....etc!!!! 03-wink
CMU has one home game left against Ball St. They need 10,672 to reach the 15,000 average mark. (Not that it will matter. For the zillionth time, I'm telling you this "rule" will be altered so no current I-A team will lose their status.)

But out of curiosity what are the "magic" attendance numbers for the other MAC teams?
12,000+ plus at each of our last two games. (WMU and Marshall).

It won't be a problem.
I think, and hope, you are right. But luck is running out on nice Saturday weather conditions, and WMU is far from the draw it was four years ago.

Interesting. We have one home game left -Toledo-which should be a sell out of 28000. How many games do the Herd have left? Could we end up passing them in attendance?

You live up to your screen name once again. How was that 10K at BG yesterday?

How stupid can you be to talk about someone else's attendance when your school just had 10K? :withstupid:

Marshall only has WMU at home yet this season. NIU could very well pass Marshall for the season attendance leader in the MAC by the time it is all said and done.

No kidding. The two biggest disappointments on that list are BG and Miami - each with very good teams, yet barely over 16K averages. 03-banghead

03-lol Most MAC schools only have 5 home games this year. Toledo is the same way.

Sadly, I must agree. 16,829 average???? WTF????

I just don't get it. 10, 731 is pathetic. 03-banghead

Our marketing dept blows....just like yesterday's wind. Hey, that's it! It was too windy yesterday. 65 degrees and sunny but too windy!
Ball State needs 8,812 in its final home game against UCF on Nov. 13. Unless there is an absolute rain storm, snow storm, or sub-zero temperature, we ought to make it. But it's tough to draw a crowd to watch a meaningless game in November between teams that have only a single win between them. On the other hand, I am praying for a snow storm so we can give the fairweather Knights a proper sendoff as they leave the "Midwestern Conference" for browner pastures in C-DOA.

Let me be the first to extend an invitation to Ball State students to visit windy Kelly/Shorts Stadium on November 20th. :D
