Did you major in Statistics, or do you just work for the OMB?
We are 26-19-1 all time v. Toledo.
We have 13 MAC championships, and 21 conference football championships overall.
My favorite game was in 1953, when we beat Toledo 81-0!

9 MAC Championships since 1967 is the most by a MAC school since that time; that is just fact not randomness. You might have more, but you have been in the MAC longer than Toledo too.

Your losses to Toledo and a pitiful 3-8 Bowling Green team kept you from playing Toledo in the MACC. :D

I grew up and still live in the Toledo area so I have to stick up for my hometown with the Rocket fans. When I think of Toledo the thing that comes to my mind is the beautiful Katie Holmes!!! Besides Cindy Crawford being from Dekalb, there is no other hotter babe from a MAC city IMO!!! Also, Playboy's Miss November is from BG

Katie Holmes has a residence in both Toledo area and California. Of course if you have a career In Hollywood, you are not going to be living full-time in your home town. There are Katie sightings all the time in Toledo, she comes back alot since her sisters and family members are all here still. She is one of the rare ones that doesn't sell out where she came from.

Apparently, her parents live about a mile from where I live now. I wish that she would come home and visit more often. :rolltide:

Like mossmaidi said, Katie Holmes has a home in Toledo. Jamie Farr comes back all the time too, but I don't think he has a house.
NBA star Jimmy Jackson come back every summer and plays b-ball with the local kids at the playground. He also is a part-owner in a company that is trying to revitalize part of Toledo.
There is also a R&B singer from Toledo that comes back every now and then. I believe she even got married back here in Toledo about a year or so ago. I can't remember her name though.

Katie Holmes has an older sister who's a teacher/coach at one of the Catholic girls' high schools in town. She's WAY hotter than Katie, believe it or not.
The bridge replacement was supposed to be done in late 2006. Until the accident that killed four men last Feb., they were about a year ahead of schedule. They finally started up with the other large truss crane that wasn't involved in the accident, only to have it break on the first day due, apparently, to a maintenance error that caused a telescoping leg to FALL OFF. These truss cranes weight a MILLION pounds. They aren't going to take any more chances on this one. The contractor had rounded up two more truss cranes that are NOT self-staging (move themselves along as work progresses), and apparently those are still coming (they hope). Time table is up in the air, but the company is contractually obligated to finish the bridge by fall of 2006 or face a $20,000 per day fine. The old bridge, as many are aware, is one of only a couple drawbridges on the entire interstate system. This new span will help a lot. You'll love the new road, when if finally gets done.

a short time to wait for such a landmark, unfortunately a high price at the loss of those workers lifes :( . hope they setup some kind of memorial on or maybe even in the final stage to remember them. For those that haven't seen what it will look like, it will truly be an awesome sight. if anyone cares to check it out you can go here.
