I was out in the athens area tonight eating and ran into 2 football players. I talked to them and asked about the Knorr situation and both said the team has a meeting tuesday about next season regarding Knorr but they both counted him out. Whether Boeh and McDavis are going to force him to resign or let him go remains to be seen, but the players have been told he is likely to be out by tuesday.

I think this post has already been deleted. But, Bobcatattack.com is getting a record number of hits with people trying to be the first to hear the news. Hopefully, we will know soon...
Well, we're certainly not above a little sourceless rumor-mongering here. That's why we exist! Bring it on!
Firing Knorr? They can't do that?

Isn't he the only collegiate coach in American still teaching the Triple-Option?

03-lol
I guess you missed the Navy-Air Force game.

That's a shame, because it was one of the most entertaining games I've seen all year. There was no NFL talent on the field, but there were a bunch of scrappy kids playing good option football, which I still enjoy seeing from time-to-time.

I haven't seen Army play this year to see what system Bobby Ross has installed. I guess I'll see 'em in a couple of weeks.
It just would be a shame to see the swagger leave Athens so abruptly.
Swagger, we hardly knew ye!

Isn't Knorr our flagship coach?

Put your paws in the air!
WATH on the Sports Fan show tonight reported that they had contacted the AD at Georgia Southern about the possibility that Sewak had been approached by Ohio University. The AD, they said, first said he would call back and then declined comment. WATH said they had gotten the tip from http://www.footballscoop.com. That site has only a two week old reference to possible contact between Ohio and Sewak. WATH seemed to think that the "no comment" from the GS AD indicated that something was up. If there was nothing to the story, they implied, the AD would have said so. Developing . . .
