Does anyone know what practice schedule might be like for the team that goes to the Motor City Bowl--maybe someone from Marshall or Miami BG UT --what i am looking for is if the players will practice from the Dec.4-23 maybe off for xmas eve and day than off to Detroit--or do they have to be in Detroit over the holiday?
Just checked the MCB's website...it hasn't been updated from last year yet, so no word on what events are planned when.

Just a guess, but I would expect a couple days worth of events and gatherings.

But the practices during December are the great part about being in a bowl - it's alike another spring practice, and can really benefit the development of a program.

BG/UT/Marshall/Miami - how many of you guys have indoor practice facilities to make December practices even feasible?

We have one. I don't think Marshall does. Don't know about the other two.

Is it a dedicated football facility? How big?

It's the Perry Fieldhouse, which contains a 100 yard by 60 yard indoor practice field. It's not dedicated, but the varsity teams (which I assume means, mostly, football) use it afternoons.

Here is some basic info:

And here is a panoramic look at the practice field:

The goal of the Sebo Athletic Center, announced this season, is to fill in some of the gaps not closed by the field house, such as a modern weight room, better coaches offices and the like. It won't be purely dedicated to football, but it will be strictly for varsity athletes and right off the north end zone of the football stadium.
Toledo does not. That's one of the things that's been talked to death and put on the back burner while the general capital campaign is completed.
