The Chronicle article says the deal would sed the loser of the MAC Championship game to the I Bowl. Then later in the article an I Bowl official said a match up of us and T Tech or Okl St would be ideal, which is it.
If Cal wins it is NIU regardless, if Cal loses, Iowa State goes to Indy against the MACC loser.

Simple my friend, as long as TEXAS stays where they are in the BCS we are going to be just fine.

Ok st. or Texas Tech will be going to the I bowl and We will go along with them. IF ISU then becomes the Big 12 Team to the I bowl then The loser of the MACC will go. Just because they don't want a rematch.
also catch the part about rematchs -- that means the SVB won"t put MAC vs MAC (which I think most of us knew but people on here were speculating) thus sending cuse or troy to SVB when fresno moves to play UV---- whom do you think will go to hawaii Akron? kind of lucky for the team--
Yes and no. The Hawaii bowl sounds cool, but it is also on Christmas eve at 6:30 at night.

Most bars in most cities have to close by 7pm so no where to watch it with friends & fans. Plus it would be the most expensive and worst time to get anyone to go to a game.

When you think Christmas eve you don't think College Football- at least I don't. I would prefer it over Boise if I was them, but that's about it. But just because of the date more than anything. Bad Tv audience and Bad attendence for other than U of Hawaii
I think the Hawaii bowl was a good game when scheduled on Christmas day. Usually I'm just sitting around my mother in laws house on Christmas trying to stay awake. Christmas Eve is way too hectic, and besides the NFL has schedued games on that day as well (GB vs. Minnesota).

The MCB will get the MAC champion. The loser has no guarantee.

It'll only take the MACC loser if Iowa St is the team in Shreveport. Otherwise, I believe we're in.
