The BG board is posting that Gradkowski (borken hand) and "Scooter" (torn acl) will undergo surgery and not play in the bowl game.
A Rocket fan just came by our board and said that Gradkowski was on the radio this morning saying he would play. I think Scooter's out; early diagnosis was torn ACL.
It's a shame about McDougal. He got hurt in the last minute and a half of the game. It looked bad when it happened. Gradkowski played the whole 2nd half in a cast, so he can probably go in the bowl game.

Gradkowski is the key. Scooter is a good player but without the "G the QB " Toledo drops off a notch or two. I hope he does play the MAC needs the win these bowls.
Gradkowski is in, Scooter is out. No diagnosis on the knee yet.

Man, that stinks. UT's D got a hell of a lot better when they started sticking it in Scooter's belly and letting him and the Oline control the clock.

Well, the good thing is that Trinity Dawson will be 100% healthy by the Motor City Bowl. He was getting over 100 yards rushing per game before his injury earlier in the year.

As for McDougle, the official word is still a sprained knee. Initial reports didn't show any inclusive evidence of a tear anywhere, but it could still be possible. He will be on crutches for 2 weeks and then they will re-evaluate him. He will not play in the MCB though.

Gradkowski's surgery went well and he will be ready for the MCB.

I hope that works, but I don't recall UT being quite the power running team so much until they had to rely on Scooter. IMO, that's exactly what your D needs, and is the potential problem with spreading the ball the width of the field - lots of clock stoppages on out of bounds plays and incomplete passes.

Again, that's why UT is so tough to defend, IMO - the OL is athletic enough to get out on 800 screens in the spread game and pack it in and pound you.
