UCONN started selling tickets for the Motor City Bowl yesterday, and after just one day they sold 3200 tickets according to insiders that have talked to their athletic ticket office.

Looks like we could be seeing a very good crowd at the MCB. Don't forget that this is the first bowl game that UCONN has been to.
After yesterday, they are up to 3,800 tickets sold at UCONN.
That's really great. Last year BG and NW drew over 51,000. Ii would be great to break that record. With the kind of support we had Thursday it seems like that could happen.

C'mon students,

I think that Toledo will have around 25,000-30,000 at the game.....They should let Students buy as many tickets as they want. 15 dollars instead of 45......
i agree, im having a friend of mine pick one up for me.
Report on the UConn message board says that three charter planes are filled for the trip. Anyone know how UT is doing with sales?
Actually, the message on The Boneyard board referenced 4 charter flights organized by UConn. However, most Huskies' fans know from Final Four appearances that it's more cost efficient to book our own flights and hotels. The date of the MCB is less than convenient and Detroit's not exactly a destination location, but at least 3,800 tickets were sold to Huskies' fans as of sometime Saturday.
