Any word on project attendance for the MCB from a UT, UConn or Total point of view. Hopefully the Rockets send up a huge contigent.

Saw on the NIU board that they are not expecting many to attend the SVB. Too bad, but it is a bad time for a trip to a game that won't be all that.
From reading, they do have many sour grapes when it comes to us and they are confused. They seem to think Toledoans live in trailers when we all know that is our friends in Wood county. Another one actually thinks Toledo is a worse city the Gary, IN. Now that is showing how sour their grapes really are. I do feel for them...sucks to lose to UT year in and year out. Has to get old being our *******.
We should be ripping on Dekalb.
It is just a flat wind-blown cornfield.
Atleast they are only an hour drive west from civilization.

Toledo is a pretty decent city. Let's not even start comparing it to Gary.
Saw a projection in one news story from MCB Director Ken Hoffman of 45,000-55,000. Hopefully Toledo fans force that number to the high end. A couple of weeks ago UConn had sold 4,000 tickets so I would imagine that number has gone up considerably since that time.
I haven't heard anything new from UCONN fans, but I know they guaranteed the MCB they would sell 10K.
I know there have been mentions on this board about companies buying tickets for employees. With the Big Three being sponsors I wonder how many they are giving away.
I'm currently working on a project at Ford. Haven't heard about any give-aways however, as one of the sponsors, Ford is offering discounted tickets ($25 which includes a $5 concession voucher).

See my pinned thread at the top of the Toledo board on discounted tickets if you want to take advantage of that offer.

One of my co-workers who lives in Detroit says he is hearing a lot of advertisement about the MCB. It would be nice to set a new MCB attendance record.

The growing number of Alumni buses, plus UConns good numbers seem to indicate that we are going to have a great crowd.
