As if our student body would be caught dead in a bus terminal. Do you have any idea who sits on those seats?

Yeesh, you'd think after a couple of years, you'd at least get the basic stereotypes right.

This is for Lakeland Rocket, who insists OU does not have an airport. Which is funny because over the years one of the more notable facts about the OU is that it owns a university airport, which not many schools can claim.

I've flown from Toledo's regional airport. Not much of a facility. Just a step up from what we have at Ohio University.
=>What? Why would Toledo have a better airport than the MAC's flagship university?????

I suggest a letter writing campaign to Chryst.

Toledo was a close second, losing only due to bench style seating instead of the more comfortable chair back style.

Only YOU would take that defensively.

Take the stick out of your @ss.

Actually, I thought WMU had some sort of flying team. They're supposed to be pretty good.

WMU has a very good aeronautical college. My friend went there for 2 years before coming down to Embry Riddle.

Knight Time, you should have stayed in the MAC. Our board is obviously more fun, and its gotten better since Marshall left.
WMU's great and all, but at OU, *every* major is a "flying college," eh?
Muncie's airport features a fine-dining establishment, Vince's. (Seriously, very nice place as of a few years ago). It overlooks the tarmac so you can watch the plane come in.

(No, I didn't forget an "s" in that sentence...)

Two points on one of the most ridiculous threads ever - glad to be a part of it, of course.

1) I have to say that, for a small regional airport, I think Toledo Express does just fine. What does it lack for an airport its size, in the shadow of two pretty big airports?

2) Who cares if the university owns an airport? I'd rather own a recent MAC sports title.
STOP THE PRESSES!!! OU HAS AN AIRPORT! This is the most important piece of news anyone in the MAC could have hoped for, and takes priority over anything else releveant to a sports thread.
Way to go KK, yet another thread that has nothing to do with sports, you should be proud you divert so many of these threads.

Umm...Aren't athletic teams sometimes flown into cities?

Think CUSA.

Its owned by the University, not the county.

And with the recent renovations, OU's airport is ready for puddle jumper commercial service.

Can't say the same for the Wood County Airport in BG.

With our own airport, we also have a large avaition school.

Kit-Kat, I'll give you this. For the grief that you take (mostly self inflicted), you remain reasonably civil. Keep up the good work. 04-bow

5,600' runway for a little dinky airport isn't bad. When I buy my first Gulfstream, I'm bringing her in there!
