Conference is stronger than these rankings. Quite a few teams above Miami who would not be leading the MAC.
That poll is about the most biased poll I've ever seen. It's a bunch of coaches voting based on history and media popularity.....not on real talent level and coaching.

I'm not just saying that because Miami, WMU, BGSU and KSU are in it and UB is not......I believe each of those teams SHOULD be in the mid-major top 25. But to say that Boston U., Illinois State, Denver and Pennsylvania are better than teams like Ohio, Buffalo and Akron is ignorant. I wonder if these voters know anything about the teams they are voting for.
For some reason, voters get a woody for the America East conference. That conference will probably get an at-large bid too. I don't get it?
