If he has any sense he'll stay a long ways from that place.

He turned down the job offer from Marshall. I guess he would rather be a position coach at Florida than a head coach at Marshall.

I imagine the next HC at Marshall is going to be a position coach, too.
And with their hard core fans, he ain't gonna like the position.

I'll be very surprised if the NCAA doesn't cause the next coach to assume the position due to the prior coach.

HUNTINGTON -- The search is over.
Marshall University has called a press conference at 11:30 a.m. Thursday to announce a new head football coach.
Mark Snyder is expected to be introduced.
The search to replace Bob Pruett, who abruptly retired on March 8, had been narrowed to a pair of candidates -- MU interim coach Larry Kueck and Snyder, who is Ohio State's defensive coordinator.
Now, however, it appears that Snyder is the choice.
According to Marshall sources, Snyder has been recommended to the school's Board of Governors by interim president Mike Farrell, athletic director Bob "Kayo" Marcum and the screening committee.
When contacted Tuesday morning, Snyder denied any knowledge of being Marshall's selection.
However, sources say all that remains is ironing out the final details of Snyder's contract.
