My guess is 3 - Sheldon, Cieslak & McGhgy

Damn, left 0 off. I guess that is not an option!!!

Wait....define stick?

Like make a pratice squad?

I'd say 3...Sheldon, Haldi, and Brad C.

Haldi is just too solid to not be a #3 or #4 somewhere. He won't play, but he should be able to stick, he is smart and has decent physical tools. Just don't put him on a field with an NFL D.
Since practice squads count, I went with four.

Of Sheldon, Van Akre, Mghgy, Haldi and Cieslak, at least 4 should find at least a practice roster somewhere. I'd say 5 to be optimistic, but you never know when it comes to this type of stuff. As for the other 3, Lee is 50/50 in my book, while Atkinson and Hickenbottom don't make the cut.

Sheldon - Biggest threat to not making it seems to be fellow WR/PR Carlyl Holliday (former ND WR/QB)
Cieslak - Based on Bills current roster
OL - You have to think that at least one of the O lineman if not both have shots at a spot.
Haldi - There's only 4 QBs on the Bengals roster right now, giving Haldi and his football smarts a good shot at making the team.

Lee - makes for an intersting prospect with his size and speed, but I don't know enough about the Bills situation.
I'd say Sheldon, Cieslak and Verstrate. Maybe Haldi and Mghgy.
Sheldon, Cieslak and McGhghghghghgy (sorry, keyboard stuck....)
Hmmm....it'd be great if these five stick. I think that Sheldon and Cieslak have the best chances.

Verstraete
Atkinson
McGhghy
Cieslak
Sheldon
I think you guys are heading the wrong direction, here. Look at what it takes to stick, and if there are special circumstances, ie a need for WRs in SF may be how PJ stuck and made it off the practice squad.

For example.....

Lee has a good chance to stick, because as a fast DB he can play on any special teams unit. Same with Brian Atkinson as a quick LB. 0

IMO, the linemen have the toughest chance to stick, but I'd have to look closer at those team's units to see about each one individually.

Lee is a decent pick. The bills have no one at corner. Nate Clements and hodge pode of guys who don't really have much experience under their belts...Terrence Mcgee is the other starter.

All lee has to do is beat out a ton of other undrafted FA's. I think he may make it.

Exactly. With great speed and having inate tackling ability (unlike Darrell Hill, who had great speed but was a WR), and he'll be cheap as an UFA, he's a natural, IMO. Whether he plays in defensive schemes is actually irrelevant to whether he makes the roster, though it'd be great to see him get that chance, too.

Hey Dyno, Did Van Acker skip his Sr. yr and go pro? :)

oops. I meant VerStraete. Thanks for pointing that out. Confused by multiple lineman with names starting with a V.
The Bears OL seems to always have lots of injuries. McGhghy might make the team by default, if not by talent.
My guess is that about 10% of the free agents invited to NFL camps make it. With that in mind, I would guess one of the eight would "stick". Any more than that would be gravy. Of the eight mentioned, I think that Brian Atkinson has the best shot.
Sheldon, Lee, Ceislak will end up on rosters, Haldi and Atkinson a slim shot but possible.

I stlill find it amazing that of the 6 senior offensive starters last year, 5 are on NFL rosters(Lueck the odd man out).

On defense, 3 of the 7 senior starters are now on NFL rosters, including 2 of 2 from the secondary.
The Beast, Lee, Sheldon, and Cieslak are definitely making starting rosters. Probably on special teams. Cieslak could see regular TE duty. Haldi, McGhghy, and VerStraete will make practice squads for now.

Starting rosters?

On special teams?

What?

Sheldon on the roster, Cieslak on the practice squad (for now).
