Not only have they won 7 in a row, but in California, where they usually do poorly. Are they finally turning it around?

Looking forward to the Red Sox series. Too bad I could not get tickets. :crying:

I liked you better when you talked about NFL Europe. Anything but baseball. So, anybody familiar with Aussie rules Football?
03-wink
I love watching the AFL and rugby, don't know a thing about the rules of either, but it's a blast to watch.
I have to work that weekend.
I have tickets for Saturdays game here in San Diego if anyone wants them. Upper Deck $20 a piece, face is 18 but I dont make change :)
Check it out, they have Australian Rules Football right here in Chicago.

Anyone notice that the winning streak began when Coach Joe was at Wrigley? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.............................
03-puke cubs............. go whitesox! Their season is already in the right direction!!!! :D
This is a hilarious quote from Craig Monroe of the Detroit Tigers after getting swept in a 3-game series by the White Sox today.

"This is tough, because we feel like we are the better team," Craig Monroe said. "But being the best team on paper doesn't mean anything. They came in here and did everything they needed to do, and that's hard to accept."

----

Hmm so detroit is the better team on paper since they are 2 games below .500 and the white sox are almost 30 games over .500. I would sure like to see the piece of paper that Monroe was looking at.
Seems Dmitri Young brainwashed him into thinking the Tigers and Indians are the best team in the central too. I imagine he just whispered, "behind the White Sox and Twins," off camera.

(if your not into baseball, Dmitri Young was quoted near the start of the season as saying that the Tigers and Indians would finish 1,2 in the AL central)

I don't think Craig Monroe can read. I think he was just repeating what that Rhodes Scholar Dimitri Young was saying earlier this season.

Let's Go Go Go White--------Sox!
Somebody tell Monroe to look at the paper, not smoke it. By the way, way to come through in the clutch on Wednesday night, buddy. 05-nono
