kind of surprised BG isn't in there, but we do have 2 with Miami at 22 and Toledo at 28
[Quote-BG fans] The nation loves us. We are media darlings! [/Quote-BG fans]

Apparently not the darling that they thought they were. It's nice to see UT's recognition but I do think that BG will be atleast a top 40 team regardless of their defense. In a way, I kind of wish that UT would stay off these lists until the season starts, but it is only one ranking, I guess.
5 Big Ten teams in top 19?
Louisville #4
No BGSU in top 40?
3 C-USA teams in top 40 ahead of BGSU?

Ohio plays 4 of their top 40.

Tell me how Penn State finishes 5th in the Big Ten and stays ranked?

Rather glaring, that one. I was wondering the very same thing.

When you have one of the largest alumni bodies around....you tend to pick up a few votes here and there.

Ah yes...the size of the alumni base. A sure sign of football expertise. Great indication of everything that is wrong with polls.
