Its become nationally known. Larry Browns gotta be losing credibility w/the refs, all he does is whine. Great coach but he didn't invent the game as he thinks he did. Carolina sucks too.

I am not saying whether or not Detroit is whining or whether or not the officiating has been good or bad......I am just saying those are interesting numbers.

Something else to think about. The Pistons did get called for fewer fouls during the regular season than any other team in the NBA (2.6 fewer).
I'm probably the biggest of Piston fans out there. But even with some bad calls that have gone against them, they have flat just lost their composure in the 4th quarter of both games in S.A.
Both games they manage to get the lead down to single digits in the 4th quarter. Then they miss an opportunity to get a rebound to dwindle the lead even more and S.A. just completely bury them.
S.A. has clearly been the better team.

However, The Spurs aren't GOD almighty. During the regular season the two teams split victories, both teams winning at home.
Your constant degrading of the Pistons because of the soreness you felt when they beat Miami is much like your constant smack talk of the MAC. You are close-minded and think that anyone that doesn't see things exactly as you do is a jerk.
I don't think any Piston fan, or anyone else that has watched the first two games, will deny that the Spurs totally dominated those games and beat Detroit bad. However, those kinds of games do happen and especially when the one team isn't playing well. Look at Game 6 against the Heat in Detroit. The Pistons totally dominated that game, no question about it. Then Detroit went into Miami and won game 7 on the road.......something that hasn't happened in the Eastern Conference in over 20 years. That doesn't mean that the Heat couldn't hold a candle to the Pistons.

I don't like the Pistons for a few reasons A) The "brawl" this year B ) Rasheed Wallace C) The CONSISTENT whining on and off the court by team and coach
I'm just tired of Pistons' coaches and fans alike blaming the officials for their losses. And it happens ALOT.

Pistons need to shut there mouths and play ball. They are a championship team, they need to realize that and play like it.
Historically speaking their is a great discontent by the Floridians above Palm Beach county towards south florida. As a south floridian most of it is justified. Not many fans of Miami teams reside in Orlando unless past SoFla residents. Especially since bball and football expansion.
One of the greatest lines after Tampa Bay coached by John McKay started out was "throw McKay in the bay". Especially after questioned by a reporter about the teams execution and he responded " I'm all for it".
The Crawford / Garretson thing doesn't surprise me. I've long wondered if those two have something against the Pistons, because they've been involved in numerous controversial calls against Detroit in the past two-three seasons (maybe longer; that's just as far back as I can recall noticing). It's not even necessarily calling a tight game, either, because sometimes it's non-calls that are the issue.
Mind you, I'm not necessarily saying there's a conspiracy, here. Maybe it's as simple as a pet peeve, something Detroit does that those refs don't like, or maybe there are some personalities on the Pistons that rub those guys the wrong way (or vice-versa). All that same, if those two officials are not on the court for another Detroit game, I won't cry about it.
As for the past two games, the Pistons seem tired to me, both mentally and physically. Maybe those tough, physical series against Indiana and Miami have caught up to them, because Detroit normally wins with grit, hustle, and stifling defense. San Antonio has displayed those things, while the Pistons seem a step slow in the second half of both games. These teams are pretty evenly matched, with the Spurs' only advantage being scoring off the bench. In front of the home crowd, I believe Detroit's energy level will be higher tonight, and I see us taking at least two of three games at home.
As a final commentary on the officiating, it
is part of Larry's job to gripe about the officiating, especially when it seems biased. TNT and ABC announcers have both commented about "homer" calls being prevalent in this years' playoffs, so outside parties are noticing problems, also. At the same time, I'm sure Larry is telling his guys to just shut up and play, because that's what he's done in the past.

Very mature post. I like the namecalling. Sorry if I labeled you as a Heat fan when you aren't, but you sure seemed to be pulling for the Heat in the last round and seeing that your are a fan of a school in Florida it is pretty easy to understand how someone would think you were a Miami Heat fan.
