They weren't always like this, but many Toledo fans on here are arrogant, myopic and stuck on the same jokes from 1+ years ago.

I had to go with BG. Hard to explain why but it is just a combo of everything from the fans at the game to some posters on here.

I'm just surprised that CUSA posters as a whole didn't make the list!

Some UT fans on here can really push people's buttons. It's almost as if they go out of their way to tick people off.

The single most annoying fan award should go to Kit Cat hands down, but I didn't want to bring OU down just because of him!

I would like to nominate UCF as a write in .............They were here only three years for just one sport and they still hang around.

I think it is natural to think the fans of the school that is winning conference titles are annoying. It's a bit of frustration by the fans of the other schools fans. Add to that the fact that on the MAC Conference Talk Forum the two schools with the most active posters and the two schools that are always fighting with each other and alienating the rest of the conference fans with their constant bickering and I think it is understandable that Toledo and Bowling Green are way out in front of the rest of the schools. Well, except for Ohio and that is only because of Kit-Cat and not Ohio fans in general.


The good thing is that no school's fans on here are saying their school is better than the rest of the MAC and putting down all the other conference schools in a very mean and angered way;' saying they suck and don't belong in I-A and so forth..........like Marshall fans did.


Some people will say that UT fans are arrogant lately. I don't think so. Toledo has won a couple of MAC titles and several West Division titles in recent years and that is bound to make their fans more confident and talk about their accomplishments over and over again on the board. Like it or not, until they start losing they have a right to talk about being the defending MAC Champions or about beating NIU so many times in a row.


Another thing that pushes Toledo to the top of this poll is that many MAC fans seem to be very annoyed with the fact that Toledo has been beaten badly in a few OOC games over the last few years despite their success in the MAC. These fans are annoyed that Toledo can be so successful over their team and other MAC teams when losing badly in some OOC games. They speak freely about it and then UT fans defend themselves like anybody would and that adds fuel to the fire.

BG is the only sports game I have gone to where I was stopped and threatened for wearing an opponents colors! Teased, razzed, even obnoxious at many places, but nothing like the welcome I received from some intoxicated falcons.

UCF fans would've won for "most unrealistic" and for "the most smack without backing it up"! :D

You are correct, but since the majority of the posts here are football related you need to look at the football side of things. UT did win the West Division in basketball though if you do want to talk about B-Ball.
