The Rockets have offered 6'3" 212 lbs Kevan Smith QB from Seneca Valley High Schoo(Harmony Pennsylvania).Kevan is a "Top 50(#46) "Pennsylvania Player/Rivals.com He recently attended the Rocket FB camp.
Kevan is the #6 QB in Pennsylvania and was an "under the radar player" until the spring camps and combines.One rating service said after this season he may end up being a Top 25 QB.

I really hope that Church verbals and signs with us. We have got a few players from Penn Hills over the last few years and this kid can play. We need him in our secondary too.

We could use all these 4 recruits.Rivals 100 listed 9 QBs out of the top 100 players in the country. 3 of those QBs were from Pennsylvania.So it is a very good year for Pennsylvania QBs and FB.We could definitely use a 6'6" 250 lbs TE,especially one that's still growing.He needs to match our 6'6-7"WRs.

Apparently Kevan Smith broke his hand last year.So that's why Kevan came in under the radar.On the Penn State board they thought there was not much of a drop- off from the top 3 QBs in the state compared to Kevan Smith.
