A total of ten MAC players so far have been named to pre-season watch lists released by the Lombardi, Maxwell and Nagurski Awards.

With several more watch lists due out in the next couple of months, the MAC should continue to see players listed. Who knows, one day we may even have somebody win one of these awards. If I were a betting man I would say this year our best hopes would rest with Omar Jacobs for the Maxwell and maybe even Terna Nande from Miami for the Lombardi or Nagurski Award.
