Was checking out their board and found this......

There isn't a college player in the state of Michigan who could bump Omar Jacobs.
We're just going to have to see how
their 1ST STRING does against a MAC
team on Sept 3, aren't we.
Despite the voting results, NIU intends to play the game on Sept 3. If Michigan chooses to play only their second string, we'll play 'em. Whatever....
This year, those non-starter UM guys would probably be about 3rd in either MAC division.
I hearby propose Michigan's 2nd-string become the 14th member of the MAC.

The University of Michigan Ann Arbor North Campus (UMAANC) Otters.

Double-headers in the Big House.

Yes.
wow the comedy of some of those posts is amazing. Basicly I read that the MAC doesn't have any players will "the entire package" and because they being big ten fans havn't heard of a player he's not considered good?

I'll give them the fact that there is a depth issue when you look at entire teams. but that takes into account injuries, as well as subs. But what really gets me is they think that thier scond stringers would come into MAC stadiums and compete. It's one thing when you sit back and play at home and then it's a completely other thing to walk into a MAC stadium week in and out. They act like because they see some tough teams away in the big ten it measn they can walk through a MAC team.

If they were so confident a lot of those schools wouldn't be so afraid to travel to a top tier MAC team. I mean afterall, if their second stringers could compete for the title then their first stringers should have no problem. I just can't stand them hiding behind the weak statement of "well our team wouldn't make enough money or get anything out of going to a MAC stadium to play" and then start polls like that. when it's very hypothetical and there is really no basis to compare.

Besides last year the second string UM recievers would have had a hard time making the depth chart for BSU, that receiving corps last year was excellent. And to say that there are 20 backup QB's behind others at major schools with more talent than any MAC qb. give me a break.

time is running out for the big ten, everything they are mentioning is exactly why the MAC is able to recruit right from under their nose. why would such talented kids want to play at schools like UM and sit the bench for 2 or more years when they can come into the MAC and IF they are that good start in one to two years. when playing at MAC schools doesn't effect your draft status it's pretty dumb to throw away those years of playing experience.
