<a href='http://www.collegefootballpoll.com/pre_season_congrove_rankings.html' target='_blank'>Two MAC Teams in the Top 25, plus Toledo at 26.</a>

Some of you will also be amused to see the projected finish for our C-USA defectors. 03-lol
I'm willing to step up right now with $1,500 that says Marshall finishes better than 1-10. (Which is only giving the Herd credit for beating the Bill & Mare, a 1-AA team and automatic win according to the site).

Who wants in?
I would love to see the stink if there were seven undefeated teams at the end of the season, as this poll suggests. Could you imagine both LSU and Michigan going undefeated and neither making the title game? That would be a sight
Kent=39 NIU=59?

I'd pay $1500 to see the Herd go 1-10, but I guess that's a whole different deal.

(BTW, I'll be rooting for William & Mary. No offense, OH, but I've got extended family member in school there.)

I'm an alum of W&M and my money's on the Tribe, even on the road.

Are you laying any odds for a bet like that? Say 10 to 1? That might draw more interest.
I see the Herd going 5-6, and UCF 3-8. No science...just a guess. :)

I am putting up $1,500. If that doesn't get you interested, you don't believe the poll.

BTW, I don't think W&M will be a walk-over by any stretch of the imagination. I do think Marshall will win, but this game could be a test through 3ish quarters.

While we do have a great defense and have a favorable home schedule, I think that 8-3 and 39th are a bit of a stretch. But I would like it though. I certainly see NIU doing better than 6-5.
No way Navy goes 1-10. No way West Virginia is 3-8. These guys must be smoking crack.
these computers are broken
"Last year's 1-A victims were Hawaii (FAU), Illinois (FAMU),North Texas (FAU), Rutgers (New Hampshire), MTSU (FAU), Mississippi St. (Maine) and Eastern Michigan (Eastern Illinois). FAU moves up to 1-A this season."

this thing is so badly done...Illinois didn't lose to FAMU last year.

I hope it happens ...
This poll has just one problem...........It doesn't know the real results yet. I hope nobody is putting any odds down in Vegas. Considering that 1/4 of the rosters are freshmem.........how do you you assume wins over every D-aa team. Does the computer assume BCS wins over the MAC?
This ranking gave no love to the state of West Virginia.... Both WVU (99) and Marshall (113) would tank if this came true...

I think the MAC should beat out the WAC overall. It is interesting to note that the top 3 ACC teams are VaTech, Miami and BC.
