Interesting, and I will now start the timer to see how long it takes to have this thread moved to the Smack Board.

More "experts" afraid to break the "6 BCS group". Yawn.

For kicks......here's mine

1. Big 10- Loaded teams at the top.
2. ACC- FSU, Miami, Maryland, and GT make a good top 4.
3. SEC - Only weak teams are Vandy, Kentucky, and MSU
4. PAC-10 USC holds this conference up, but they have some strong teams.
5. Big 12 - There's Oklahoma and Texas........and then alot of average or BAD teams
6/7/8 - BE, MAC, CUSA. I don't see a whole lot of difference. Each conference has a team in the top 20 and lots of changes going on.
9. WAC- Boise and Fresno are awesome. And that's it.
10. MWC- Last year Utah was awesome, and the rest of the league stunk. TCU can't save this declining league and Utah can't repeat what they did last year.
11. Sun Belt. No commentary needed.

Nice to see the MAC higher than cUSA in both opinions.

It sure feels good to get some small measure of respect from national media. This isn't meant as smack but do you think still having Marshall in the MAC would have affected our ranking at all? Positive or negative.

My guess is that Marshall is going to seriously suck this season. Who knows? Their new coach might just turn things around, and they did get to sign a ridiculous number of non-qualifiers this season, but I doubt it.
