While making the drive to Cincinnati for the EMU opener, I am scheduled to be on the air tomorrow (Thursday) at 10:40 am on WKNR AM 850 in Cleveland talkin' MAC football with Greg Brinda.

Also am scheduled for 11:05 am on WVFN AM 730 in Lansing on Thursday as well. I know the Lansing station has streaming audio available Here

Of course schedules can change, but that is what is currently the plan.
Great, I will try and tune in!
Well, I hope nobody heard it....chances are even if you tuned in you couldn't hear it. 03-banghead

Phone line feedback with WKNR was so bad that we had to abort the segment. I kept hearing my voice boomeranging back at about 8x the volume, which was incredibly distracting, and apparently the station was having the same problem. In fact, I actually think it was on their end as we were good each time (we tried twice) until we went live on the air. Sorry about that folks. It was really frustrating as this was my first shot with them, but they said they were willing to do another segment next week after the games are played. I was using a cell phone...I use that same cell phone for my interviews with WVFN and never have a problem. We were travelliing between Detroit and Cinci and stopped in Bowling Green to make the call thinking we could get a good cell.

The brief segment with WVFN that followed went without a hitch...just did a quick preview of the CMU and EMU games. Earlier in the day WVFN had CMU head coach Kelly on and the play by play radio voice of Kent State. So, these stations that we are contacting are really stepping up their MAC coverage, which is really the goal of this whole thing.

Will be back on WVFN briefly tomorrow around 10:25 am with a recap of tonight's games.
I am sure Bill Needle was quite chipper. Not a great play-by-play guy but good guy overall.
{Insert axeme's Bill Needle impression}

:rofl: :rofl:

He is really nerve racking when listening to the basketball games. He'll start talking about going to Ponderosa, meanwhile three possesions have taken place...
