"Ohio got the Hokie’s attention with their home win over Pitt. Unlike Pitt, V-Tech not only has talent but they have a coach who knows what he is doing."

...while watching the OU v. Pitt game I kept asking myself how does a guy like this keep getting head coaching positions?
The final Pitt drive left much to be desired for. There were a couple of really odd calls for running plays with the clock ticking down... It was like they were playing NOT to lose and to make sure they no matter what got the FG.
Yeah a lot of good that did them

Nah. They just took what OU gave 'em. They were getting 5-6 yards per play, a first down with clock stoppage every 2 plays isn't bad. They just got down to the red zone where the defense isn't so spread out and got stuffed. If OU had played D the way they had the whole game, instead of switching to the "prevent a win" defense, Pitt wouldn't have gotten that FG to tie it.
I got to the homepage A-OK, then waited more than five minutes for the Week 3 picks page to open. Ran out of patience ...

For some reason, you've got to go through three pages to get there. The first one is the home page. From there, you click on a week 3 link. That opens up to another page where you've got to click on another week 3 link. Not sure why they have you do it twice but the information is there once you get in. 03-confused
Sorry about the load speed. The HTML is only 30k which should not give anyone much wait unless you're on dial-up. Even then it should not be that bad. The ads are all hosted on outside servers; they may have been the problem. Is anyone else having issues with load time on the site?

I just updated the Homepage and Football landing page (football home). Both have the "Nick's Picks for Week #3" links going straight to the page with the picks. The Recaps however will go to the Nick's Picks Landing page (where Nick's record straight up and against the spread is displayed). Does that work? One less click for ya'll.

Sorry about that. I am always open to suggestions, comments or feedback.
Ohio hasn't had many chances with the lead. This was a good learning experience for the team. I was impressed that they kept their cool when Pitt drove the ball down the field. Solich's influence on this team is amazing. The defense didn't make the big mistake and forced Pitt to beat themselves which they did. The Ohio defensive line is a biggest surprise so far. The line has shown great improvement this year vs last year. If they continue to get that kind of pressure on the QB, Ohio will slow down some high powered offenses in the MAC. The two freshmen on the D-line played very well vs Pitt. This gives me hope when Ohio plays BG, Toledo,Akron and Miami later in the year. The only way Ohio beats those teams is putting the opposing QB on his back all day long.
Isn't Temple 0-2 and not 0-1?
I corrected the Temple record. Thanks for finding that!

Might as well go ahead and change it to 0-3 :D
