Bobcats defense has stopped the #4 team in the nation in the first half. Ohio's offense has gift wrapped 14 points to Va Tech today. This team is making the MAC proud today with this defensive performance. Ohio missed a 35 yrd fg. Memo: Recruit a kicker. Rossman isn't making the kicks that D-A kickers should make. Bobcats defense is really impressive. I feel much better after watching us against Pitt and this first half vs Va Tech. The NW must have been a blip, because Ohio has played excellent defense the past two games. The improvement on defense is amazing. Pitt is terrible, but this is VA Tech the #4 team in the nation. Down 17 this games is out of reach with our offense.

38-0 and it is starting to get ugly. Anyone think that VA Tech will put 50 on OU? What was the spread? VA Tech seems to be going through the motions, thank goodness for OU.

Bobcats played very well in first half. Va Tech is #4 in the nation for a reason. Bobcats don't have the depth of Tech and Tech has exploited it in the second half.

I was at the game and as weird as it might sound to some people, I am very encouraged with the performance of the team. Once again, what killed us was our offense. Our defense was on the field way to much and got tired again. Our offense turned over the ball and gave it to VT in great field position way to much. But, our offense has steadily been getting a little better every week. I'm glad to see that we finally started throwing it downfield to Mayle.
If there is a better defense in the MAC, I would like to see them. Our defense has been great since week 1. Our offense just has so many 3 and outs that they dont have anytime to rest.
I am very encouraged and anxious to see what this team can do in the MAC. I think we will be making some noise this season. Not win the MAC or anything, but I think we'll do better than a lot of people predicted.
Virginia Tech has some of the best fans that we've encountered. 99% of them were very respectful and fun to talk to. Lane Stadium is also a very nice place. The new improvements still aren't 100% completed, but it is a very nice stadium.
We didn't pull off the upset today, but I'm optimistic about this season.
