Hey HuskieMobile, this can give you a run for your money. Wonder what the interior is like?

Spudskie, I've seen it in person and can tell you that it is really nice. Here's a list of its contents per Photodan in a recent thread.

Quote:The Jambulance is brand new for this year. Here's a quick rundown on the specs:

- Working lights, sirens and loudspeaker
- Blue and gold LEDs along the grille
- Blue neon ground effect lighting
- The Freedom Grill (attached to the trailer hitch)
- CD stereo w/ iPod interface
- Dual 1000watt amps
- 4 6x9 speakers with a 12" subwoofer cabinet
- Tracvision mobile satellite receiver system (tracks the satellite while *moving*)
- 28" LCD television hung from the ceiling at the back. (swivels for viewing in or outside)

It also has a heavy duty inverter to power the ac appliances such as microwave and playstation.

Other than the bass cabinet enclosure, it's currently a stock ambulance on the inside with seating for 5 in the back and 2 in the cab. We could fit more people in the back if needed.

WOW
Oh, FWIW, I don't know but I would assume that the Huskiemobile and the Jambulance serve different purposes. I would guess that the Huskiemobile is more of a people mover/tailgating vehicle with the Huskie logos whereas the Jambulance is more geared toward the functionality aspect. From what I understand, Ranger and Dan use it to move their product (<a href='http://www.toledorocketsfuel.com' target='_blank'>Rockets Fuel</a>) to the games as well as a tailgating vehicle with the satellite tv and swinging freedom grill. You guys should check their site out, it's pretty impressive. With that said, hopefully I'll get a chance to see the Huskiemobile next year.

Jambulance > my apartment
The Jambulance is a work of art. I don't know know what kind of money RR put in the Jambulance but I am sure it is a pretty penny. He told me the cost of buying it, and it was more than 10X the purchase price of the Mobile. I don't know who did the work on the Jambulance, but I do all the work myself on the Mobile/Bus to save money.

RR and I are going to drag race in Toledo this year with the Bus and Jambulance. :fast:

The Jambulance looks nice, but I give Justin's vehicles top honors. Besides, Justin was a visionary and the Jambulance is a copycat attempt.
Anyone with the means or ability should donate improvements to the Huskiemobile. We can not let Toledo out do us. Justin is a dedicated NIU fan. He needs the support of rich huskie supporters to battle the evil empire known as Toledo Rocket Fans.

Actually I believe the Jambulance idea came from the tailgating ambulances that the Philadelphia Eagles and Indianapolis Colts have. I believe the Colts one has been around quite a while and pre-dates any other idea of its kind.

Make money? What are you talking about? RangerRocket is one of the biggest UT fans around.

He did start ToledoRocketsFuel.com to sell merchandise, but it wasn't meant to make money. It was to give Rocket fans quality merchandise and stuff we want instead of the crap that is sold now. Of course the idea is not to lose money in that venture, and anyone that knows anything about businesses knows that it will take a few years for them to stop losing money....not alone making money.

There are others that are associated with the Jambulance that are still young students at UT as well.

Your comments couldn't be farther from the truth.
I dunno, the Jambulance seems to have plenty of character to me.

Either way, it beats the lack of Falcon-centric vehicles I've seen at my two recent trips to The Doyt. :(

The Rockets are actually pretty good about tailgating vehicles. Along with the Jambulance we have had a couple of other vehicles for a couple of years now.

There is a bus that is painted with Toledo Rockets wording and so forth that one fan brings to the home games.

There is a guy that has a huge rocket replica that he attaches to his truck and brings to home games and some road games.

There is also a guy that hauls a Rocket enclosed trailer to the games. It is painted midnight blue and says Toledo Rockets on it. These are the one I remember off the top of my head, but there might be one or two more.

Sounds like they are a couple "wild and crazy guys."
HMM,

Any chance the "Huskieambulance" will join the Huskiemobile line of tailgating equipment?

You providing the funding? 04-drinky
I have a vision for a vehicle of my own, but I think it's a few years down the road. Down payment for a mortgage is my current priority. Don't you go tellin my idea mobile and niuguy!!
You should make a Huskie Shaggin' Waggon....like the one from Dumb and Dumber.
