Temple fans are asking themselves how they lost to us because Fresno State is just a mid-major school and we played terrible with just 1 player out. They think they have more depth than us. I stopped reading their message board (rivals site) when I couldn't stop laughing.

They are cracking on the MAC for the performances by UT and BG against BSU and FSU and think they will come into the MAC and compete for the title right away in 2007.

Some also think they will beat Miami University when they play them later this year, and a few actually think they will beat BG.

Shades of UCF.

Well, on one hand, it's good to hear that they haven't totally given up hope. BG doesn't look very intimidating right now, despite last year's shellacking of the Owls. They have a big offensive line and a 1-2 punch at RB. We've seen how our defense (doesn't) handle that scenario already.

That being said, I'm expecting the Falcons to beat them into submission and knock their fans back to reality. And judging from the way the Redskins (sic) have rebounded from that loss to CMU, I wouldn't start arranging the victory parade down Broad Street quite yet.

Looks like a lot of Owl fans have short memories. Of course, who can blame them. 04-drinky
Those Temple fans have to be eternal optimists just to still be rooting for their team!

There's probably some psychological term for it....

Maybe connerito can come up something.

I fully expect the Falcons to lay a big-time hurt on the Owls and may even attend this holocaust.

Miami looked darn good in pummeling the Bearcats last night.

Just go to temple.rivals.com/forum.asp and go to their free board and look through the threads. There are a couple of threads that I got this from, but I don't remember the names of the threads.

Thanks for the lead. BTW, I assume your "procedure" went well.

Well it didn't go bad at least. Just a little sore and resting a lot right now. Probably won't be on the boards here much for a couple of days yet.

Thanks for asking.

I can't believe I am going to say this but........I hope you do.

And no matter how I feel about a team I hate to see any player get hurt
(especially season ending), so I hope that the O line can protect Omar, they seem to be hard on QBs

No, but I can't sit in a chair very long and am usually resting in bed or laying on a couch. I think I have been sitting in my computer chair too much today too, because I seem to be getting a bit more sore today.
You must be in pain because you totally missed the inherent joke in my question. 03-wink
For me the question is not wherether or not Temple will win a game. I think the real question is how long will the low life temple coaches allow their low life loser thugs to try and ruin the careers of real athletes with cheap shots. If I'm right, they now have a string of three weeks of taking out oposing quarterbacks via cheap shots/late hits.

I will be looking to their boards to express this opinion next.

I wonder how Omar is doing with the thugs the afternoon?
Well - it was 42-7 at halftime and the last I saw it was 70-7....I'd say they had there ******es handed to them today.

It will be fun to watch them compete with Buffalo every year. Good Luck Temple.
