This is a very bad sign. We are so going to get stomped in Muncie. :(

I was just saying on the NIU board that I can see it now.................

13-16 players suspended for every game until the Toledo game, where everyone is back and they play out of their minds to upset the Rockets in Muncie once again. 03-banghead  03-banghead

That is gonna be a bloodbath in Boston. :(

Of the 16, how many starters? (I didn't read the link...too lazy today).

Ball State had all these kids back when BG played in Muncie. No doubt Brady Hoke wanted to use the suspensions in OOC games.

Well, I think it'd be "way more worser" if the 16 were still suspended for the UT game and they still won.
We were originally only supposed to have three players suspended for this week's game, and then be back at full strength next week.

The additional 13 were added this week. Apparently, these students bought the "recommended" in addition to the "required" textbooks for their classes. Believe it or not, that's an NCAA violation.

People are getting pretty pissed about the way this is playing out, considering that Ohio State's QB took money from a booster and is going to get a lighter punishment in terms of suspension than some kids who simply bought the all the books their professors put on their syllabus.
No need to lower you standards to the non-existant standards at OSU.

It's nine starters (five on defense, four on offense), including the entire defensive line.
By the way FalconFreak90, Ball U did not have all those kids back for the game with BG. I think there were nine of the kids suspended for the BG game!

That's not what I read in the Muncie paper the next day after the game.
Who really knows?

Good lord!!!

This is going to be a beating similar to what Toledo and BG took. 03-lol (OK, so at least I can laugh about our OOC road woes damnit!)

Better to laugh than cry! 03-lol

Let's jus forget those two games for now. :D

And I think it could be much worse than what UT and BG went thru.
We've already seen 56-0 and 63-3 this year, so it can't get a whole lot worse.

Can it? 03-confused
I gave up 35 points to get Boston College.

Sorry, fellas.

If this is all this is over, the NCAA needs to take a SERIOUS look at their priorities. Academics, in more than theory, should come first. If the prof "recommends" an additional text, it should be available to the student/athlete as part of the course work. I never took a class without buying ALL the books the prof had on the syllubus. No point in playing shorthanded.
